The Embassy of Pakistan, Washington, D.C. offers internship positions for undergraduate and graduate students in the United States colleges and universities. Students chosen for the program are required to participate as an intern for 10 weeks on a full time basis. The positions within the program are voluntary without salaries or benefits. The internship program gives students valuable work experience in a challenging foreign affairs arena.

Communication, cultural and press affairs

The interns participate in the daily work within the areas of communication, press and cultural affairs. As a part of the Embassy's public diplomacy activities, the interns assist in organizing the Embassy's outreach activities and participate in implementing the overall communication strategy. In addition, they organize and coordinate Pakistani cultural events in the U.S.

Community outreach : The interns also participate in community outreach efforts of the Embassy.

Eligibility

The program is open to motivated and dynamic undergraduate and graduate students at the U.S. colleges and universities. Please note that we do not accept applications from outside the United States.

Internship program will commence from June 15, 2018 and will end on August 14, 2018

Note: Last date for the submission of application is June 10, 2018
